The LDC and members registered their thanks to outgoing Director for Hillingdon Jeff Sherer who has been a long standing active member of the LDC.
The main business of the AGM was to review the engagement from the last year and set out the plans for continued engagement with local stakeholders for 2026. The Board is committed to continuing its communication with members and will keep producing its regular newsletter and also host more open meetings for all members, with four planned for 2026.
The LDC has strong engagement with the North West London Integrated Care Board and this will continue as the ICB merges with North Central London. Engagement takes place through the LDC’s presence on ICB working groups such as:
- A dedicated dental liaison group
- The Primary Care Programme Board
- The Primary Care Commissioning and Contracting Group
- The Dental Collaboration of Practice
- The Primary Care Collaborative
Work will also continue at the local, borough, level to ensure that stakeholders understand how dentistry works and how the changes expected to come into force in April 2026 may affect local access.
