Members from North West London and Camden and Islington joined an online open meeting on 2 September.
Kelly Nizzer, Jeremy Wallman, and Andrew Biggadike from the London Dental Commissioning Hub covered the mid-year process, activity monitoring, the latest position on the urgent care changes and the £15 supplement, and took questions from members. The hub encourages practices to check contract delivery on Compass monthly rather than relying on practice software, and to raise any exceptional circumstances early, with supporting evidence. Members with questions on the detail should contact the LDC.
Dr Rakhee Patel, Dental Clinical Lead for WNL ICB, introduced the programmes of work under way across the merged WNL footprint, including four dental care pathway pilots running from 2026 to 2028: a domestic abuse shelter-to-practice pathway in Camden and Islington, an oncology pathway for patients discharged from head and neck cancer care at UCLH, a cardiac pathway in Hammersmith and Fulham, and a diabetes pathway in Barnet and Haringey. Expressions of interest for the pilots went out to practices in September.
