James Frith MP has appointed the new Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health with responsibility for dentistry.
As well as dentistry Mr Frith will also hold portfolios for:
- NHS Data and Tech
- Medtech
- Medicines
- Research and Innovation
- Rare Diseases
- Major and Long Term Conditions
- International and Devolved Governments
- Men’s Health
- Eyecare
Mr Frith joins the Department of Health and Social Care having been Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and Parliamentary Secretary in the Cabinet Office.
The LDC Confederation has written to congratulate Mr Frith on his appointment and responsibility for dentistry and to request a meeting as soon as possible.
