The Paediatric Managed Clinical Network has produced a patient information download to explain to families how referrals into CDS paediatric services work for practitioners in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.
The download answers common questions, such as:
- Why has my child been referred?
- What will happen at the Community Dental Service?
- How will my child’s treatment be managed?
- What is sedation?
- What if my child needs a general anaesthetic (GA)?
There is also a checklist for practitioners to ensure that a full conversation has taken place.
